The 2011 Import and Export Market for Self-Propelled, Electric Trucks Fitted with Lifting or Handling Equipment in Australia

The 2011 Import and Export Market for Self-Propelled, Electric Trucks Fitted with Lifting or Handling Equipment in Australia

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on self-propelled, electric trucks fitted with lifting or handling equipment in Australia face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying self-propelled, electric trucks fitted with lifting or handling equipment to Australia? How important is Australia compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of self-propelled, electric trucks fitted with lifting or handling equipment vary from one country of origin to another in Australia? On the supply side, Australia also exports self-propelled, electric trucks fitted with lifting or handling equipment. Which countries receive the most exports from Australia? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for self-propelled, electric trucks fitted with lifting or handling equipment in Australia. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for self-propelled, electric trucks fitted with lifting or handling equipment for those countries serving Australia via exports, or supplying from Australia via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Australia fits into the world market for imported and exported self-propelled, electric trucks fitted with lifting or handling equipment. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Australia in particular, is

588. HMAS SEAL was one of three 120-159 tons full load RN 'Ham' Class inshore minesweepers acquired by the RAN to be fitted out as dive tenders with decompression chambers and equipment from 1969-1973.

In the end, only HMAS SEAL [ex-HMS WINTRINGHAM] and HMAS PORPOISE [ex-HMS NEASHAM] were converted. Ex-HMS POPHAM was sold in January 1976 to become a marine research vessel for the Sea World theme park in Queensland's Surfers Paradise.

HMAS SEAL is seen here getting a lift ashore for dockyard work by Garden Island's famous 250-ton Hammerhead crane.

The crane, completed in 1951, is now heritage-protected and not in use, a subject of on-going local environmental controversy and debate as its condition deteriorates.

Some Habourside residents favour its preservation, and others don't.

Photo: RAN Official, it appears in Ross Gillett's book 'Warships of Australia' [Rigby Australia, 1977] p269.

Went to visit fy fiancee's parents for xmas in Canberra (Australia) and found all these 1970's dresses, boots and luggage, and thought we would do a quick shoot together in this empty paddock. Plenty of Kangaroos jumping around behind us and the flies... oh the flies were horrible!

Was absolutely pouring with rain when i took this shot - you can't really see it in shot due to the DOF. So all my camera gear was soaking wet, the poor Camera was drenched... lol I love having about 8thousand dollars worth of equipment in the rain! However I am stubborn and wanted the shots!

The 2011 Import and Export Market for Parts of Lifting and Handling Machinery in Australia

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on parts of lifting and handling machinery in Australia face a number of questions. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for parts of lifting and handling machinery for those countries serving Australia via exports, or supplying from Australia via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Australia fits into the world market for imported and exported parts of lifting and handling machinery. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Australia in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that Australia is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize Australia compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.
